Electrostatic Electronic Printing Technology

Electrostatic printing is a novel printing technology that has developed in recent years. It was successfully tested in Japan by four companies, including Kyoto and Ricoh, in November 2002.
It utilizes a relatively simple electrostatic device, which maintains a certain distance between the printing coating and the fabric. Without direct contact, the ink is transferred to the fabric due to the effect of the electrostatic field. In order to ensure a certain degree of color fastness of the printed pattern on the fabric, it is necessary to perform post fixation treatment after completing the copying process. Due to the fast speed of electrostatic printing, pattern patterns can be directly printed on fabrics in one go, which is simpler and more convenient than other printing methods currently used. It is a novel printing method with development potential; Moreover, electrostatic electronic printing has the advantages of high efficiency, short process, low cost, and minimal environmental pollution, making it the preferred printing method for ecological textile printing.
The electrostatic electronic printing device is completely different from the jet printing machine. It does not use nozzles, has a higher operating rate than jet printing by more than 20%, a clarity of 720dpi, a production speed 50 times faster than jet printing machines, and the price of dye and ink required per square meter is 1/200 of jet printing. It will bring great changes to the global printing technology in the 21st century.
