1, Handmade hot stamping paste
1. Manual plane bronzing paste: It is an organic combination of acrylic lotion and tackifying resin lotion, which is copolymerized by acrylate with special performance. This improves the solubility and stability of lotion, increases the peel strength of lotion, and enables the bronzing paste to bronze at low temperature. So many material merchants and printing factories are also known as cold stamping gold paste. Because the bronzing paste can form an adhesive film quickly between 35 ℃ and 120 ℃, it is by taking advantage of the strong initial adhesion of the resin lotion itself that the bronzing paper is attached to the bronzing paste. The characteristics of hot stamping paste are: thin sizing, soft and elastic hand feel, and no shrinkage. It is particularly suitable for manufacturers who pursue line hot stamping and hand feel.
2. Stereoscopic bronzing paste: It is the product of acrylic acid lotion or Eva lotion grafting technology. The biggest feature of three-dimensional gilding paste is that it has a high solid content, and will not produce concave and convex phenomenon in use. Use the ordinary screen plate (80-120 mesh/im) commonly used to achieve the required film thickness through multiple printing, and print a 3D printing effect. Then adjust the working pressure and temperature of the transfer machine for hot stamping to form a three-dimensional three-dimensional gilding effect.
3. Mirror hot stamping paste: It is mainly a hot stamping paste synthesized by adding EVA polymer copolymer to hot melt powder. The appearance of mirror hot stamping paste is milky white, because the hot stamping paste contains a large amount of hot melt powder. When printing the substrate, it is easy to fill in the concave and convex surfaces of the substrate. After heat transfer hot stamping, the surface of the hot stamping film is very flat and bright, with a good reflective effect and a mirror like effect. So some people call it mirror hot stamping paste. The mirror hot stamping paste contains hot melt powder, so during the hot pressing process, the hot stamping temperature depends on the dissolution temperature of the hot melt powder in order to achieve good washing resistance; This is also the reason why the texture of mirror hot stamping paste is harder than other hot stamping pastes.
2, Mechanical printing hot stamping paste
1. Mechanical flat printing hot stamping paste: Different from manual flat hot stamping paste. Handmade flat hot stamping paste pursues a high initial adhesion on the surface, while mechanical printing hot stamping paste requires a low initial adhesion on the surface. When rolling up the fabric after printing, there should be no cloth hair sticking, otherwise it will affect the final quality of the product. The process of mechanical flat printing hot stamping paste: fabric sizing → drying → fabric collection → fabric placement → hot stamping → forming. Mechanical flat hot stamping paste has a good hand feel due to the small amount of sizing, but the flatness of the hot stamping is not very good and the brightness is poor, so some people also call it frosted hot stamping.
2. Mechanical three-dimensional hot stamping paste: Due to the special nature of mechanical printing, in order to produce a 3D three-dimensional hot stamping effect, the mechanical printing machine can repeat printing multiple times like manual printing. Therefore, when setting the formula for producing mechanical printing hot stamping paste, microcapsule foaming powder is added to the production process. By utilizing the working principle of microencapsulated foaming powder, microencapsulated foaming powder plays a crucial role in the overheating process of printing, meeting the requirements of three-dimensional technology and solving the process requirements of hot pressing during fabric collection and release. The drawback of mechanical three-dimensional hot stamping paste is that it has poor elasticity.
3. Mechanical special hot stamping paste: As is well known, many mechanical prints are mainly based on reactive printing. In order to better achieve other printing effects, this year we have added coating hot stamping technology to active printing. General pigment printing is a dry wet printing process with a neutral pH value, while reactive printing is a wet wet printing process with a non neutral pH value, so there are new requirements in the market. Mechanical special hot stamping paste requires solving the problem of pH resistance on the existing basis. At present, this printing process has been successfully applied in mechanical printing factories, saving time and production costs, and meeting the needs of development.
3, Craft hot stamping paste
1. Fabric bronzing paste (suede process bronzing paste): The range of resin lotion selected for fabric bronzing paste is large, and acrylic lotion, tert vinegar lotion and EVA lotion can be used. Because in applications, after hot stamping fabric crafts, water resistance is generally not required, and the requirements for hand feel are not very high. It only requires easy film formation and strong covering effect during printing, especially for dark fabric crafts. It can cover the fuzz and easily block the suede fabric fuzz during cover printing, meeting the requirements of subsequent processes, so that the hot stamping paper can be easily attached. So when using resin to produce fabric hot stamping paste, a certain amount of inorganic minerals need to be added to increase the covering power, and at the same time, it must be able to successfully press at low temperatures (the pressing temperature is generally between 30 ℃~45 ℃, which can keep other parts from being pressed and maintain the cleanliness of the fabric image).
2. Paper bronzing paste: mainly choose vinyl acetate lotion or EVA lotion for use. This kind of lotion has good abrasion resistance to paper, good adhesion and overall leveling, and is especially suitable for paper. When printing or coating, it effectively solves the tension and fluidity problems on the surface of the paper, making the gold foil on the paper present a smoother and more luxurious effect.
With the emergence of a large number of new products, hot stamping paste is also constantly extending. Anyway, the printing of hot stamping paste must be uniform, the adhesion must be smooth, and the pre drying, hot pressing or hot rolling should be controlled within a suitable temperature and time range to ensure the quality of the finished product, which enhances the added value and aesthetic value of the textile products for screen printing technology.
