Weaving labels are mainly divided into two types: woven edge cloth woven labels and cut edge cloth label woven labels.
Other woven labels, such as size label, waist label, main label, etc., are distinguished according to the purpose of the product.
The price components of woven labels: The price of woven labels is based on the material, color quantity (i.e. the type of color), specifications, and subsequent processes.
Weaving edge fabric label:
When the required width of the logo is woven at once, it is called a woven edge trademark. This process avoids many of the drawbacks of edge cutting, but has a lower yield. There is also a distinction between flat and satin, characterized by a soft and crisp feel. It is more suitable for high-end clothing items such as fashion, suits, etc. Japanese manufacturers who place great emphasis on quality use it the most, and machines are also made in Japan with great care. The woven edge label is usually made of satin, but it is difficult to express the satin base color. This problem is often solved by processes such as hot stamping/dyeing.
The machines for weaving edges usually have wooden shuttle machines, and the colors generally cannot exceed four; There is also a crochet machine that can weave various quality crafts, and even add transparent polyester yarn to the warp yarn, called a fish silk crochet machine.
The cost composition of fabric labels is not only related to width, total length of each color, and process, but also to the variety of yarn used. JB series yarn is commonly used internationally.
Cutting edge fabric label weaving label:
As the name suggests, on a dedicated high-speed machine, it is woven like a piece of fabric and then cut into strips according to the designated width. Due to the heat melting property of polyester, the yarns will stick to each other during cutting and will not have loose edges. For this reason, the appearance and feel will be affected to some extent. A good machine will be better, and ultrasonic cutting will be better than ordinary electric knives. The fabric label of the strip can be directly sorted and sent to the clothing factory for processing; If the requirements are strict, cutting and folding processing is still necessary. Because the maximum width of this machine is 20.8cm, it can weave labels of this width and process various shapes.
According to the process classification, it can be divided into two categories: flat labels and satin labels.
Flat label: A simple flat label is formed by interweaving one warp and one latitude up and down like a fabric structure. Generally speaking, warp yarns are fixed in black or white, so there are also black flat and white flat colors. For light colored base colors, white flat is usually used, while for dark colored ones, black flat is usually used. The pattern and color of the fabric label are mainly expressed by the weft yarn, and the color expressed should have a different and varying effect when crossing with the warp yarn. Due to the limitations of using weft yarn types in general machines, the colors that can be expressed are also limited, generally within 8 types. As can be seen from the above, the price factors include: the width of the fabric label, which is the amount of warp yarn used; The length of the fabric label and the length of each color along the longitudinal direction. In order to express details and colors more richly, the weft yarn is doubled, which is called double-sided marking. If a certain color needs to be more three-dimensional, an additional layer of yarn is added, which is called heavy shuttle. Apart from washing and sizing, most of them use flat double-sided labels. The fabric labels are all made of yarn to express patterns, which is definitely different from the original graphic design. Therefore, it is impossible to produce a large product without a sample confirmation.
