Thermoplastic resin adhesive paste is a solvent based colloid, and its viscosity can be adjusted using organic solvents such as acetone or butyl acetate. These solvents are flammable materials, so fire sources should be strictly prohibited during coating to prevent accidents.
The operation of applying thermoplastic resin paste on the printing tape guide is as follows:
Remove impurities from the printed tape guide. For the new printing guide belt, impurities and oil stains on the guide belt can be removed through the guide belt washing device and foam free detergent, and can be manually brushed if necessary. If the coating resin on the printing tape has been printed for a long time or has aged and lost its adhesion, or has been covered or coated with uncleaned flower coat hair and color paste for 1-2 times, all old glue needs to be removed. Before removing the old glue, place a wooden stick tied with a cloth strip on the tape guide at the feeding end, with a width close to the tape guide, and install a coating or remove a scraper frame and stainless steel knife about 3m away from here. During the process of removing old glue, acetone is continuously added to the cloth strip to allow more time for the old glue to be completely and uniformly soaked and dissolved by acetone. The tape running speed is about 4m/min, and a coating scraper is used to continuously remove it. A small amount of residual glue that has not been completely removed can be manually wiped off.
