Polyester Fibers Require Strong Alkaline Additives For High-temperature Pretreatment

The determination of printing and dyeing process parameters and dyeing materials for fabrics woven from two types of fibers, silk and polyester, poses certain difficulties in printing and dyeing processing. Because of polyester
Fibers require strong alkaline additives for high-temperature pretreatment, and dyeing must be carried out under high temperature (130 ℃) conditions to complete coloring. Silk belongs to the category of spun fibers, and the fiber itself has poor uniformity and high impurity content. Long term treatment in the same bath under high temperature and alkaline conditions can easily damage the fiber strength. Considering the different structural and performance characteristics of the two types of fibers, both must be taken into account when formulating the dyeing process.
In the refining (pre-treatment) process, we prefer a milder weak alkaline refining process. However, the gentle refining process can easily cause incomplete desizing of polyester fibers, resulting in impurities dissolved in the dye solution from the fibers and residual oligomers migrating outward from the inside of the polyester fibers during the heating and dyeing process, forming an oil coking material that adheres to the fabric and forms a color stain together with the dye during dyeing. To prevent the formation of color stains, we have explored and tested the process and additives. In the pre-treatment process of the raw silk, we have selected some surfactants and weak alkalis with strong oil removal ability to form refining additives, and appropriately extended the treatment time. This can ensure that the silk fibers are not damaged and fully remove the pulp and impurities in the fabric.
The key to batch production management is to strengthen the control of quality. Each batch of raw silk should be sampled and inspected according to the standard to ensure the stability of the quality of the supplied raw materials. (2) For goods under the same contract, orders of different colors should be placed first in light colors and then in dark colors. Once there is a color issue, you can change to darker colors to reduce economic losses.
