Principle of heat transfer printing: First, print or print the pattern on special paper, and then "stick" the special paper to the clothes through high temperature, so this
Craftsmanship is also known as hot stamping, heat transfer printing, transfer printing, digital heat transfer printing, etc.
Heat transfer printing can be further divided into industrial heat transfer printing and inkjet heat transfer printing. Industrial hot stamping is suitable for batch operations and requires the use of large printing machines for printing. The start-up and plate making costs are relatively high, and this process can be used for at least 100 copies, otherwise the cost will be too high. The sampling fee is usually a few hundred yuan. Inkjet hot stamping refers to the need for an inkjet printer to print on special transfer paper, which can be printed individually. Therefore, the sampling cost is very cheap, only a few tens of yuan, suitable for small family workshops to operate. However, this process has low efficiency and slightly lower resolution than hot stamping, making it even less suitable for printing dark colored clothes.
Advantages of hot stamping: It can print high-precision character photos, 3D game patterns, and other very complex and delicate patterns with excessive colors, which can be made very close to computer design drafts.
Disadvantages of hot stamping: The fastness is slightly lacking, it feels like a piece of leather sticking on, and has a plastic feel. Not suitable for large format patterns because they are too large and not breathable, making them a bit stuffy. The larger the pattern, the easier it is for the corners to curl and fall off. It is also not resistant to washing, and if washed in a washing machine, it is easy to cause local detachment. It is recommended not to use this process for long-term wear. If you can compromise on color and delicacy when wearing it for a long time, using dot color printing is more suitable.
Principle of dot color printing: Dot color printing is actually a type of screen printing, but it uses too many dots to form a pattern. This method is achieved through the sparse density of the network points
The excessive expression of color, the sparser the dots, the lighter the color expressed, and vice versa, the darker the color. By stacking multiple sets of dots such as C, M, Y, K, etc., colorful transition colors and complex color patterns are formed.
Advantages of dot screen printing: Good color fastness. The pattern is soft and natural. Can basically express gradient colors and transitional colors.
Insufficient dot screen printing: When expressing very delicate portraits and 3D game patterns, the excessive colors are not delicate enough, and the dots can be seen with a color difference of over 20%.
